Three professionals from Cuba, along with 11 colleagues from Venezuela, Uruguay and Ecuador, are participating today in a course organized by China to update them on the development and prospects of the construction machinery industry.

These are two managers and a specialist from the company Cementos Cienfuegos S.A. and they will be present at the open academic event from August 9 to 29 under the patronage of the Ministry of Commerce, coordinators of the event confirmed to Prensa Latina.

The virtual signature session activity was organized by the Hunan Province Foreign Trade Vocational Training Institute (center) and aims to share experiences in technical training on the operation and maintenance of equipment such as pump trucks, bulldozers and the bulldozer.

In addition, his program includes classes on China's national political, economic, social, and cultural conditions; society, culture; its work in the eradication of extreme poverty and the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.

During the opening ceremony, Liu Junting, a researcher from the Hunan Department of Commerce, viewed the course as an opportunity to strengthen joint research and cooperation in the field of engineering machinery, as well as enhance mutual understanding and trust.

Likewise, Tang Zhiyuan, dean of the institute's Foreign Aid Training faculty, specified that apart from the classes there will be a virtual visit to the Zoomlion company and an exhibition of crane products from the industrial park and earthmoving machinery, concrete and high altitude.

Earlier, last July, the Hunan Foreign Trade Vocational Institute gave a seminar on the design of technologies and materials used in construction to Cuban engineers, technicians and other professionals.

The organizers valued it as a good space for communication, an important way to learn the opinions of Cuban experts in the sector and another channel that consolidates cooperation and friendship between the two socialist states.
